A strange place

Give me a second so I catch my breath.

But Water had no ear, and it carried me swift.

Water, was louder than my screams; drowning it like it would drown me.

My hands stretched out for safety, only away and away I drift.

Can I rest my limbs? they tire, they ache.

Water had no feet, but Water run so fast.

My feet, they failed me.

My eyes are dazed. So heavy. My body will fight no more.

Slowly Water fills me up.

Quickly though, my lungs fail and my skin turns pale.

Tossing and tossing.

Self is helpless.

Until Self would only float.

Because, Self is in a Strange place…
