In the Name of Cupid!

I saw The god of Love without his bow and arrow.

as I watched Cupid go,

I realized metals against hearts are the poisons to our souls.

‘I compel you to succumb to love in the name of Cupid!’

How difficult can that be? To go on both knees in the name of Love?

But love is not in the command of words. Love is not in hearts. Love is not the feeling. Love is not many things perceived by men.

My heart skipped a beat, not in delight but of despair…

as I watched Cupid go.
